What and who is the

'Of Such Times'
speaks, breezily, with women who've all graduated from one of
India's leading colleges,

marriage, collective aspirations, fun, and the times they graduated
in.
Voices of these

What and who is
the 'Modern Indian Woman'? What is her quintessence?
Has it changed over the years? What has and what hasn't?
At times there
seems a gap between women even 15 years apart, each
often unsure of the other and her concerns. As styles of
expression and presentation change, one assumes a
corresponding change in the basic fabric of a
generation; in their intent, their motives, in what
drives them to action. Perhaps this assumption has
reason. Yet perhaps its time women know the minds of
other women.
'Of Such Times'
speaks with women who've all graduated from one of
India's foremost colleges for women, though in different
decades, from the 1950s till 2001. They reflect on life,
work, marriage, aspirations, fun, and the times they
graduated in.
Voices of these
women are strung together to form the narrative of the
film. Each story and decade is imbued in texture and
feel with visuals of popular culture and music trends
relevant to the time they're set in. Interspersed, also,
between the narratives are significant
socio-economic-political events in Indian history that
influenced the protagonists. |

These skills were
