Acknowledged as the scion of the
Gwalior Gharana, Meeta Pandit is acclaimed amongst the finest artists
of Hindustani Classical Music in the world. Meeta is sixth in an
unbroken lineage of musicians of the legendary Pandit family of
Gwalior, a 200-year old family tradition and has the unique distinction
of being the first woman musician in the family.Her voice is unique,
stretching over three octaves. <br><br>Awarded the 'Golden
Voice of India' at the age of 15, Meeta Pandit has toured several
countries and performed in all prestigious Music festivals of the
country.An alumna of Lady Shri Ram College, Meeta has a Doctorate
in Music.
