Vandana nurtures a
well-established interest in Photography with an emphasis on portraits.
Her assignments include those of Geeta Chandran,
the Bharatnatyam danseuse, Kansai Yamamoto, the Japanese
fashion designer, Sachin Tendulkar, former Captain
of the Indian cricket team, Meeta Pandit, among others.
Her pictures have been published across an array of magazines and
newspaper features.
She is one of the
principal photographers for the book "So Many Journeys",
a coffee table publication on the Indian classical dance form, Bharatnatyam.
The book, authored by Geeta and Rajiv Chandran, won the National Award
for Best Art Book in English in 2005.
